Diets rich in carbohydrates or reduced weight control

Both diets low in carbohydrates as well as to help in not regain weight, as reported by a team of Australian researchers. The study was conducted in two groups consisting of 141 persons between men and women.

According to the team of Dr. Elizabeth A. Delbridge, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, some studies suggested that diets were rich in proteins were best to lose weight quickly than those diets rich in carbohydrates. However, there is little evidence that treatment would be best not to regain weight.

To answer this, the team formed two groups consisting of 141 men and women, who had just completed a weight loss plan. One group took a diet with 30% of calories derived from protein and another group with 15% protein.

Both groups retained their fat intake below 30% of total calories and conducted a decreased intake of saturated fat. These people who had lost some recovered only 16.50 kilos 2 kilos in one year.
